Domaine Costa Lazaridi was the first producer of the region who believed in quality bottled tsipouro. Already since 1992, in an era when bulk and amateur distillation ruled, the company launched Idoniko, with and without anise, setting in essence the basis for the qualitative upgrade of this special product.
Tasting notes:
Crystal clear, transparent.
Delicate and elegant nose with hints of summer fruit and orange blossom.
Richness and finesse combine to offer a lasting impression.
Food pairing:
Even though tsipouro is considered the drink of “freedom” that doesn’t obey many rules, one could say that the one without anise is a better match with wintery, meaty mezethes, it is also great however with bottarga and smoked eel. Enjoy it cold, idealy without ice.
